THE NAKED CHEF
This is the first series by Jamie Oliver which appeared on the BBC few years ago. No doubt about it, Jamie is fun to watch, makes great dishes in a simple way and, most of all, is a great chef. He's made millions out of being a TV chef but that's ok!

THE RETURN OF THE NAKED CHEF
Second installment in the series. Still great stuff!

PUKKA TUKKA
Beginning of the conversion of Jamie from chef to...ehm preacher? ;))) Jamie zooms around the UK teaching people how to make great meals in no time. Apple crumble? In a nutshell...don't go to Sainsbury's for your favourite packaged one, go on and make your own!

JAMIE'S KITCHEN
Jamie teaches a bunch of hopeless kids how to cook in his new charity. We at mammasantissima appreciate his committment to good causes but there's little cooking and lots of drama in this DVD (in pure reality show style).

ESCAPE TO RIVER COTTAGE
High Fearnley Whittingstall's series have to be THE BEST food series ever created. Hugh is witty and not pretentious. Still he makes some of the best traditional dishes around. In this first series he starts his life as a downsizer in Dorset. Unmissable!

RETURN TO RIVER COTTAGE
Second year for Hugh as a downsizer. An amazing series to watch! Keeps you glued to the TV!

RIVER COTTAGE FOREVER
Third year for Hugh as a downsizer. The series gets better and better. Hugh has started turning the downsizing into a more commercial adventure even reaching London to see his products. Just fascinating!

TREATS FROM THE EDWARDIAN COUNTRY HOUSE
nteresting historic exploration by Hugh Fearnely Whittingstall into Edwardian times. Not fascinating as the River Cottage series but still quite good!

NIGELLA BITES
Extracts from the Channel 4 series. We at mammasantissima all love Nigella. Ok sometimes the dishes she prepares are a bit weird and sometimes the programme goes into a sort of sex type thing when shooting Nigella voluptuously eating something she just prepared. Still Nigella cooks very well and the tips she provides are spot on. She's even beautiful. What do you want more?

RICK STEIN'S SEAFOOD ODISSEY
Good concept, good work and interesting facts on different ways of cooking fish. Being Mammasantissima an Italian based site, we kinda were a bit disappointed on the Italian insights. A lot of stereotypes on Italy albeit mixed with some interesting recipe. Bit of a mixed bag, but Rick still is an excellent narrator.
